Seventeen individuals were recently inducted into the Carbon County Area Sports Hall of Fame during a dinner program held May 28 at the Franklin Township Fire Company. The inductees included Jack O’Gurek (Summit Hill), Tony Zonca (Lansford), Steven Hawk (Lehighton), Marvin J. Barry (Lehighton), Mike Paulas (Jim Thorpe), Irene Sebelin Serignese (Jim Thorpe), Frank Bydlon (Lansford), Matt Maradeo (Nesquehoning), Gina Uher-Lee (Lansford), Cathy Radocha Gelatko (Coaldale), Jack Corby (Nesquehoning), Dan Matika (Summit Hill), George Harris (Lehighton), A.J. Petrucci Jr. (Jim Thorpe), Robert Urban (Coaldale), Joel Hunsicker (Nesquehoning)and Jeff Nietz (Coaldale).
