Ben Salem UCC, 1965 Church Hill Road, Lehighton will hold Sunday worship service at 9 a.m. for June, July, and August. Communion service will be the first Sunday of each month.

Strawberry Social is on June 11 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Enjoy good food and homemade shortcake topped with strawberries and ice cream, Bake sale, basket raffle, and music by Daybreak & Lost and Found.
Vacation Bible School will be held on June 19-22 from 6-8:30 p.m. The theme of Vacation Bible School is Shine Jesus’ Light.
June 23 is Family Fun Night from 6-9 p.m.
The Barnstormer Concert will be held on July 8 at 7:30 p.m. Repertoire of Oldies, Pop, Show and Patriotic tunes. A free will offering will be accepted.
BECC
Bethany Evangelical Congregational Church, 222 North St., Lehighton, will hold Morning Worship at 10:45 a.m. Sunday. Sunday school will take place at 9:30 a.m.

Trinity Happenings
Sunday worship at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., Lehighton, begins at 9:30 a.m. Included during this time is recognition of high school graduates and “Music Appreciation Sunday.” The church is air-conditioned. The Rev. Nancy Moore presides.

Community Vacation Bible School is Aug. 1-3 at 6 p.m. Sunday church school resumes Sept. 10.
For those desiring to schedule a baptism or desiring to seek membership at Trinity, please call the church office. Sessions are by appointment during the summer.
The Food Pantry continues to be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays (and third Tuesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m.) with an outdoor drive-up setting. Residents in need who reside in the Lehighton Area School District are eligible to receive prepackaged supplemental food items. Participants must remain in their vehicle at time of pick up. Pantry volunteers will assist pedestrians/those not in vehicles.
The Trinity Thrift Store hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays and Saturdays. Donation drop-offs are accepted during store hours on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, limited to five bags or boxes. Sales receipts support the food pantry.
