Pleasant Valley grad presents paper

Albright College students made up the majority of undergraduates presenting scholarly work at the 24th annual Berks County Undergraduate Research and Creativity Conference, April 22.

Zoe Satterthwaite of Kunkletown, a graduate of Pleasant Valley High School, is majoring in business administration and fashion at Albright and presented a paper titled, “The Psychology of Clothing Overconsumption” at the conference.

The goal of her research is to discover what factors compel people to overindulge and overconsume at the expense of the earth. By analyzing consumer buying habits and trends, as well as the psychology behind excessive purchasing, she hopes to have greater insight into what causes overconsumption.
