Concourse Club celebrates birthday

On May 4, the Concourse Club of Palmerton celebrated being 107 years young. The dinner was a Roaring ’20s theme held at Blue Mountain Resort and had The Ladies of History as the program.

Considering Palmerton will be celebrating its 125th birthday this year, it’s special for this nonprofit woman’s club to still be thriving and giving to the Palmerton community.

If you’ve ever enjoyed the summer music in the park, the movie in the park, or the art show, those are some of the events the club sponsors. The club also donates to other nonprofits, recognizes girls in the guiding star program and offers a scholarship for a Palmerton high school senior, just to name a few. If you’re interested in joining the club please feel free to email concourseclub@gmail.com.

Nine past presidents of the Concourse Club of Palmerton and the current president, Judy Borger, celebrate the club's 107th birthday.
