Twenty-eight Carbon County justices of the peace and constables who completed a recent course in criminal procedures and law received certificates of attainment at a program last night at the Lake Harmony Lodge.

The certificates were presented by Carbon County District Attorney George Kerestes and his assistants, attorneys John Deutsch and Roger Nanovic.

The main speaker was Lehigh County District Attorney George Joseph who praised the magistrates for being dedicated to their work.

Judge Albert H. Heimbach congratulated the group for increasing their knowledge of office procedures.
