Tamaqua and Marian each picked up baseball wins on Wednesday.

Tamaqua-Mt. Carmel

Tamaqua finished regular season play with a 7-3 non-league victory over Mount Carmel.

Lucas Milot had three singles, a run scored and an RBI for the Blue Raiders (12-8).

Wyatt Steigerwalt (two singles, a run scored) and Luke Kane (single, double, RBI) also contributed offensively.

Evan Bronkoski paced the Tornadoes (13-6) with a single and an RBI.

Marian-Nativity

Marian used timely hitting to post a 6-2 Schuylkill League victory over Nativity.

The Colts (10-9 overall; 7-6 SL) were outhit, but parlayed their six hits into runs in five of their seven at-bats.

Michael Gelatko (two singles, a walk, RBI) and Dylan Zullo (two singles, a run scored) led Marian offensively.

Gelatko also earned the pitching victory, going five innings and allowing just two runs.

Nolan Ferhat had three hits for the Hilltoppers (6-13; 3-10).
