Nesquehoning residents should continue to refrain from burning.
Borough Council, as well as Nesquehoning Hose Company fire Chief John McArdle, reminds residents that a borough-wide burn ban is still in effect.
That means that anyone found burning anything outdoors could be cited.
Council extended the ban during last month’s meeting. It extends until at least May 25, after council’s next meeting. A decision on whether to further extend it will be made at the meeting.
