The Carbon County coroner has released the name of the man killed in the motorcycle crash on Route 248 Sunday night.

Coroner Robert Miller identified the man as Allan Pulaski, 39, of Lehighton.

The crash occurred just before 9 p.m. as the biker was traveling east about a half mile east of the Bowmanstown exit.

Area fire companies and fire police maintained traffic control at the scene, shutting down the roadway east bound lanes at Bowmanstown.

Palmerton Police are investigating the incident.
