Blue Mountain Resort’s bike park opens to season pass holders today and to the public on Sunday.

Mountain bikers can navigate 29 trails, including Ripple and The Swartz - a black diamond, rocky single-track found off Boulevard and Upper Empire, rated the most difficult jump trail with its large tabletop jumps and large wooden drop. For beginners, Shakedown Street is a wide three-mile-long trail with a gentle grade and easy turns. .

Day passes can be purchased online. All riders must wear a certified bike helmet and present a signed release form. Season passes, day tickets, bike rentals and lessons are available.

The bike park will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.
