Letter to the Editor: Supports Sheridan for district magistrate

I am writing to express my support for the election of Kelly Sheridan, who is running for Magisterial District Judge, 56-3-03. Over the last many years, Kelly has worked for the state court systems, and most recently for the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office. With her training, knowledge, and experience, she is ready to bring to the table what we need for our area.

While raising her family in Carbon County for the last 20 years, she and her husband ran one of the most successful restaurant businesses in Lansford for over 15 years. Being in the everyday life of the “Coal Region,” she has expressed to supporters how great of a need there is to have a strong, criminal justice leader in our area.

Through the outpouring commitment that she shows during all of the volunteering she does, and has done for a long time, Kelly has expressed her great want to bring back a sense of order to our area.

Being a resident in Lansford for the last 24 years, I am looking for someone who has the determination and willingness to serve the residents of Nesquehoning, Summit Hill, Lansford, Mahoning Township, and East Penn Township.

Please make sure that when voting on May 16, no matter what your party, you make the right decision and have a state certified candidate move on to the General Election!
