State police at Fogelsville reported on several area incidents:
• A 54-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman, both from New Tripoli, are the victims of a theft by deception case. Police said the couple walked into the barracks to report a complaint of identity theft/fraud at Jefferson Court in Lynn Township.
The theft occurred between 3 p.m. April 20 and 9 a.m. April 21, police said.
• A 58-year-old Slatington man was charged for possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop.
Police said they stopped the man driving a 2012 Jeep Cherokee at the intersection of South Cedar Crest Boulevard and the Hamilton Boulevard Bypass in South Whitehall Township.
• Police are investigating a theft by deception case in which a 47-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man, both from New Tripoli, are the victims.
Police said they received a walk-in complaint about the identity theft/fraud incident that happened at Jefferson Court, Lynn Township, between 3 p.m. April 20 an 9 a.m. April 21.
• A 58-year-old Slatington man is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after a traffic stop.
Police said they stopped the man while he was driving a 2012 Jeep Cherokee at the intersection of South Cedar Crest and Hamilton boulevards in South Whitehall Township.
• A driver was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance after they responded to an incident at 12:37 a.m. May 1.
Police said they discovered the driver was DUI when they were dispatched to Corporate Court, Lowhill Township, to assist EMS personnel with an individual inside a vehicle.
Police did not release the names of those involved.
