I am writing this letter to show my support for Richard Branche Sr. for Carbon County Sheriff. I served as the Chief Deputy Sheriff of Carbon County for 35 years serving under Sheriff’s Peter Hoherchak, Dwight Nothstein and Anthony Harvilla before retiring in 2020.

Through my years I have never seen a candidate for sheriff with the law enforcement education, training and experience as Richard Branche Sr. His experience ranges from patrol officer through supervisory positions up to and including management positions all in law enforcement agencies. Every promotion or advancement in his career was gained through hard work, attention to detail and qualifications.

I am confident that he will bring a level of professionalism to the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office and operate a fiscally sound more user friendly office. He realizes that the taxpayers expect elected officials to be competent stalwarts of taxpayer money and will submit budgets that reflect what is best for the citizens of Carbon County and the Sheriff’s Office.

In closing I ask that you join me in supporting Richard Branche Sr. for Carbon County Sheriff so that the citizens of Carbon County can have a sheriff who is honest, has integrity and is of good moral character.
