Carbon Career & Technical Institute celebrated Arbor Day by planting a tree on the school campus. Students in Jean Bale’s Modern World class planted a dogwood tree. “Students had the opportunity to learn about this important day and were able to take part to help the environment and support the cause of environmental awareness. This got the students outside and away from screens, and it encourages students to be an active participant in life - to be an active participant of their own environment’s making,” said Brent Borzak, CCTI administrative director.
