Lehighton Borough Council took the following action on Monday:

• Approved a proposal in the amount of $11,900 from Wizard of Wire, LLC to refurbish the fountain Christmas lights. Councilwoman Autumn Abelovsky said the borough has funds budgeted for the lights.

• Adopted a resolution amending the salary resolution to include part-time police officers and changes to pool employee wages.

• Adopted a resolution amending the 2023 fee schedule.

• Hired Alice Baab as a crossing guard pending her passing the pre-employment process.

• Approved the additional list of Baer Memorial Pool employees for the 2023 season.
