May 4, 1981 - Lehighton’s Robin Bottcher steals home on an 0-2 count with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the Indians a 5-4 Centennial League softball walk-off victory over Stroudsburg. After the Mounties tie the game in the top of the seventh, Bottcher leads off the home half with a single, moves up a base on a hit by Karen Klotz and steals third. With Terry Malatesta at the plate, Bottcher takes off for home and is safe with the game-winning run. Winning pitcher Beth Smith collects two hits, one a triple and the other an RBI single. Barb German also chips in with a run-scoring hit.
