State police at the Stroudsburg barracks were summoned to Revelation Armaments, Hamilton Township, at 1:30 p.m. April 10 to investigate the denial of a firearms purchase.

Police said a suspect made false statements regarding mental health commitments and was denied a firearms purchase after a check with the Pennsylvania Instant Check System.
