Letter to the editor: Support for Eric Filer for district magistrate

Eric Filer is seeking the nomination on both the Democratic and Republican parties for District Magistrate. I have known Eric all my life and he has grown into a caring, helpful and resourceful young man. He graduated from Panther Valley High School as valedictorian and vice-president of the class of 2005. He then pursued his education at Gettysburg College and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry. He continued his education at Widener University and graduated in 2013 with a law degree.

Eric joined the law firm of William G. Schwab in Lehighton where he gained experience in civil and criminal law, bankruptcy, landlord/tenants matter, contracts, and wills and estates. He is a hardworking, conscientious, determined lawyer who respects his client’s rights. He listens to his client’s concerns, respects their wishes, and provides his professional knowledge and expertise with each individual cause.

Eric is involved in the community with volunteering at his church, an active member of the Knights of Columbus, and a member of the Carbon County Bar Association. Also, he is a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar.

He has legal experience in local, state and federal courtrooms throughout the state of Pennsylvania and has been a practicing lawyer in multiple counties for the past nine years.

These attributes and achievements make him an ideal candidate for the Office of District Magistrate. Show your support of Attorney Eric Filer by electing him in the upcoming election.
