State police at the Stroudsburg barracks are investigating an identity theft incident that was reported to them by a 31-year-old Saylorsburg man.

Police said he reported that between 10:30 a.m. April 8 and 10:30 a.m. April 17, someone filed taxes through TurboTax using his identity and social security number.
