State police at Fern Ridge

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported on the following incidents:

• Police charged a 46-year-old Albrightsville woman with harassment after they were summoned to a domestic incident at 7:10 p.m. April 17 at Wahoo Court, Penn Forest Township.

A 78-year-old woman told police she was in her bedroom when she got into an argument with the woman charged. She said the woman threw a blue plastic pill container at her, striking her in the head. Police did not release the suspect’s name.

• Jens Hansen, 41, of Effort, was cited for harassment after police were summoned to a noise complaint at 9:59 p.m. April 1 along Brian Lane in Chestnuthill Township.

The victim is a 40-year-old woman from Effort.

• Police were summoned at 7:34 p.m. April 1 to a residence along Mansi Drive in Penn Forest Township to investigate a case of a 13-year-old texting messages to an adult.

Police said the mother of the girl told them she found her daughter to be texting to a man believed to be 18 years old and living in Texas. Police said the messages were not sexual in nature.

• A 35-year-old Fogelsville man was cited for harassment after they received a walk-in report at their barracks at 1:39 p.m. April 10.

Police said a 12-year-old boy and his mother reported the man slapped the boy in the face with an open hand and pushed him.

It happened along Key Glen in Penn Forest Township.

• A 37-year-old Brodheadsville man is facing harassment charges after police responded to an domestic incident at 4:27 p.m. April 4 at Frantz and Chestnut roads in Chestnuthill Township.

A 36-year-old woman from Kunkletown told police that following a verbal altercation the man pushed her in the head, causing her to fall to the ground.

Police said the man fled the scene prior to their arrival.

• A 31-year-old Effort woman was charged with harassment after they responded to a disturbance at 9:21 p.m. April 10 at a residence on Charles Court Drive in Chestnuthill Township.

Police said it is alleged the women confronted a 29-year-old man from Macungie because she did not want him living at the residence and ultimately struck him three times in the face with a closed fist. Police said she left the scene prior to police’s arrival.

Police said further investigation determined the victim had permission from the property owner to live at the residence.

• A 61-year-old Brodheadsville man was charged with harassment after they were called to a domestic disturbance at 12:06 a.m. April 12.

It happened along Frantz Road in Chestnuthill Township where the victim, a 55-year-old woman from Brodheadsville, reported she and the man were engaged in an argument prior to him leaving the scene. She told police he returned minutes later and engaged in a physical altercation.
