The occupants of a sport utility vehicle escaped injury Saturday afternoon in a crash in Walker township. The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Valley Road.

The vehicle was traveling west when the driver lost control entering the right berm rolling it onto its side. The victims were evaluated by members of the Tamaqua ambulance.

The New England fire company responded, maintaining traffic control at the scene shutting down the roadway. State police at Frackville are investigating the incident.
