Tamaqua man charged in road rage incident

Thomas Case, 44, of Tamaqua, was charged by state police at the Bethlehem barracks with criminal mischief after they responded to a road rage incident at 1:02 p.m. March 18.

Police said it happened at the intersection of routes 309 and 100 in Heidelberg Township. They said Case exited his 2011 Kia Sorento and approached an erratic driver, Krista McCann, 38, of Pottsville, engaging in an argument.

Police said as McCann left the scene, Case kicked the driver’s side door of the 2022 Mitsubishi, causing $2,581.03 worth of damages.
