A 16-year-old boy from Easton is facing multiple charges after a stolen vehicle incident and subsequent police chase that ended at the intersection of the Kunkletown Road and Route 115 in Ross Township.

It happened at 4:25 p.m. April 21.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said they and troopers from the Stroudsburg unit were dispatched to assist with a pursuit after the Hyundai vehicle was stolen. Police said Easton City police terminated the pursuit with the apprehension of the boy.

He is charged with receiving stolen property, suspected driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana).
