State police at Lehighton
State police at Lehighton reported on the following case:
• A 38-year-old Lansford woman was charged with harassment after police were called at 4:19 p.m. April 16 to West Patterson Street in Lansford. Police said the victim is a 40-year-old Lansford man.
• A 42-year-old Lehighton man is facing charges of criminal trespass after police were called at 2:40 p.m. April 14 to the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue in Bowmanstown.
Police said the man attempted to gain entry to two separate residences and was located down the street where he was taken into custody without incident.
He was remanded to the Carbon County Correctional Facility, Nesquehoning.
• A damaged mailbox was reported in East Penn Township.
Police said they were called at 9:20 a.m. March 28 to a property on Germans Road where the victims, a 47-year-old man and a 59-year-old woman, both of Lehighton, reported the damage estimated at $30.
Three teens are charged with disorderly conduct.
• Police charged three teens with disorderly conduct after they were called to an incident at 9 a.m. April 5.
It happened at 3525 Fireline Road, Lower Towamensing Township, resulting in the arrest of a 15-year-old boy, a 16-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy, all from Palmerton.
Police said they caused a public inconvenience by creating a hazardous or physically offensive condition.
• Robert B. Start, 75, of Kunkletown, was charged with disorderly conduct after an incident at 3:26 p.m. April 6 on the 2000 block of Sassafras Lane in Polk Township.
Police said he took a hammer to his garage door in an attempt to start an altercation with the victim’s nephew. Police said the victim intervened and an argument took place.
• Two boys, ages 11 and 16, both of Weissport, were charged with harassment after they responded to a disturbance at 2:15 p.m. April 4 on White Street in Weissport.
Police said the boys pushed and punched the victim of the incident.
• A 12-year-old boy from Palmerton is facing harassment charges as a result of an inappropriate touching incident that was reported to them at 11 p.m. March 11.
It happened in the 2400 block of Little Gap Road, Lower Towamensing Township. Police said the victim is a 13-year-old girl from Palmerton.
• Michael Anthony Nuzzo, 31, of Kunkletown, was charged with harassment after police were called at 10:11 p.m. April 1 to Lakeside Drive in Polk Township.
Police said he struck and shoved a female victim.
• A 27-year-old Summit Hill man is facing several charges after police were called to an assault and harassment incident at 12:50 a.m. April 16 on West Patterson Street in Lansford.
Police said the victims are a 24-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman, both from Lansford, and a 62-year-old woman from Summit Hill.
Police said they were called to the residence where the suspect assaulted and harassed the victims within their residence. They said upon encountering the man, he resisted arrest, appeared to be drunk in public, damaged a neighbor’s parked vehicle and was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol.
• Police were summoned to an argument that took place on East Snyder Avenue in Lansford at 7:14 p.m. April 13.
Police said a 39-year-old woman from Coaldale was cited for slapping a 19-year-old woman from Lansford in the face.
• Tanya M. Hosier, 43, of Lehighton, was charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after they were called to 444 Allen St., Weissport, at 7:36 a.m. April 1.
Police said she was so highly intoxicated on narcotics to the degree that EMS personnel had to transport her to the hospital for a medical evaluation.
• A 27-year-old Palmerton woman called police at 1:57 p.m. April 10 to the 700 block of Club Road in Lower Towamensing Township. She reported receiving harassing text messages.
