Carbon County Environmental Education Center in Summit Hill has announced the following events.

CCEEC is located at 151 E. White Bear Drive, Summit Hill. The center building is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekends.

Rattlesnake Run

The date’s been set, and online registration is now open for CCEEC’s famous, 5K fundraiser. The Rattlesnake Run and one-mile fun walk take place in Lehigh Gorge State Park on June 17.

The easy-to-follow course is great for first-timers, and flat enough for experienced runners to achieve a personal best.

CCEEC sends out its annual membership drive next week. You can save us time, paper, and postage by renewing your membership now. There is also online options.
