Senior Center

The menu at the Panther Valley Senior Center for the week of April 24-28 is:

Monday: Beef and Bean Chili, Hot Dog, Beets, Pineapple or Chicken Sandwich

Tuesday: Smothered Pork, Oven Potatoes, Brussels sprouts, Jell-O or Chef Salad with Chicken

Wednesday: Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Carrots, Banana Bread or Harvest Chicken Salad

Thursday: Italian Chicken, Garlic Rice, Vegetable Blend, Orange or Beef and Cheese Sandwich

Friday: Swiss steak, Buttered Noodle, Broccoli, Apple Slice, Cookie or Pesto Chicken Sandwich

The center has announced upcoming events until April 28:

Games on April 24 at 10:30 a.m.; Bingo on April 25 at 10:45 a.m.; Po-Keeno April 26 at 11 a.m.; Balloon Tennis on April 27 at 11 a.m.; Van Trip on April 28 at 10 a.m., center will remain open for lunches.

Chair exercises on Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 10 a.m. Cards, pool, games, available daily. New members always welcome.

Please note the Senior Center will be closed May 1 through May 12 for Senior Games. The center will reopen on May 15.

Coaldale

Streets

The Coaldale Streets Department will not be conducting street sweeping due to an equipment malfunction. Residents can choose to sweep debris into piles and contact the Borough Garage at 570-645-7164 for its removal.
