The Immaculata College Board of Trustees re-elected Sister Marian William, I.H.M., seventh president of the college, to a second term. She will continue in the post she has held since Aug. 1, 1982.

The former Mary Hoben, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Hoben of Coaldale, she came to the office of president with a wealth of experience, having served as vice president (academic dean), dean of college development and a member of the faculty at Immaculata since 1960.

Before entering the convent of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, she graduated from the former St. Mary’s High School in Coaldale.

She is the sister of Vera Scutta of Lake Hauto and Richard Hoben of Lansford. A brother William was killed in World War II.
