April 19, 1967 - Jim Thorpe’s Jack Figura and Jerry Huggler combine to throw a no-hitter as the Olympians gain a 3-0 victory over Weatherly. Figura pitches the first two innings, and Huggler tosses the final three in a game halted after five innings because of cold weather. Thorpe registers the only run it would need in the second when Figura singles, steals second and scores on a double by Danny Skrimcovsky. The winners add some insurance in the fourth, as Skrimcovsky singles home Duane Billig, who had walked, while the final tally scores on an error.
