One man had to be extricated from a vehicle, and a 4-year-old child sustained minor injuries during a one-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in Lehigh Township.

Police responded at around 2:30 p.m. to Mountain View Drive, Route 946, at Bayberry Drive for a crash that involved a Colonial Intermediate Unit transport van.

The crash occurred when the transport van traveling southbound, left the roadway and collided with a utility pole, tree and fence.

The van was occupied by a 4-year-old child who sustained minor injuries. The driver, Devin Ramos, 35, of East Stroudsburg, was extricated from the vehicle and transported by Northampton Regional EMS to Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenburg.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
