Blue Ridge will be offering an up to 2 Gig high speed internet package for residential and commercial customers, the company announced.

The new package includes speeds up to 2000x40 Mbps for cable/HFC network customers and up to 2x2 Gig symmetrical speeds for PON/fiber network customers.

The new speed is available at a standard rate of $129.95 per month for residential customers and $299.95 per month for business customers.

• Cable/HFC: Up to 2000x40 Mbps (2 Gig) - Docsis 3.1 modem required and included with service

• PON/Fiber: Up to 2000x2000 Mbps (2x2 Gig) - PON modem required and included with service

There is a promotional rate of $94.95 per month for residential customers and $244.95 per month for business customers when signing up for AutoPay and Paperless Billing. Some exclusions may apply.

Blue Ridge has been providing cable TV to communities in Pennsylvania since 1950 and started its internet service in partnership with PenTeleData in 1994.
