Palmerton’s Perloni will play soccer at Lancaster Bible

Palmerton High School senior Sam Perloni has announced her intentions to continue her academic and soccer career at Division 3 Lancaster Bible College.

Perloni is a three-year member of the Blue Bombers’ girls soccer team where she played right back. A strong defender who also got involved in the Palmerton offensive flow, Perloni scored a pair of goals and also added several assists this past season.

In addition to playing soccer, Perloni was also the kicker for the Palmerton football team as a senior, converting numerous extra points and kicking a field goal. She is also a member of the track and field team.

In addition to the three sports she plays, Perloni also participates in the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).

The daughter of Gilbert and Mary Ellen, Sam plans on majoring in social work at Lancaster Bible.
