Bowen Decker, 35, of Saylorsburg, was cited by state police at the Lehighton barracks after a crash at 10 p.m. March 26 on Lower Smith Gap Road in Lower Towamensing Township. He was uninjured.

Police said he was driving a 2020 Toyota Tacoma eastbound when it traveled off the shoulder of the road and struck an embankment, causing disabling damages to the vehicle.

Police said Decker fled the scene and did not report the crash until March 27 through a third party.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.
