Several fire companies and a dive team were dispatched to a still water rescue early Saturday morning in Walker Township. The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. along Catawissa Road near Mountain Road. Apparently a driver failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway driving through a field and into a pond. State police at Frackville are investigating the incident.
