Members of the Nesquehoning fire department are attempting to gain access to a seriously injured ATV rider injured in an accident in a remote area of Nesquehoning. The incident occurred just before 2 p.m. to the north of the community on the Broad Mountain. Rescue crews and a Lehighton paramedic unit were called, as well as a medical transport helicopter has been dispatched to transport the victim.
