The Shenandoah Coal Cracker 10K will be held Saturday, June 10 at 10 a.m.

There will also be a kids’ fun run and 1.5 mile run/walk, which will begin at 9 a.m.

All races start at the Polish American Fire Co. on 115 N. Centre St. in Shenandoah, and will finish at the corner of Main and Centre Streets.

There will be two free drinks and Mrs. T’s Pierogies for all runners, as well as an after party following the awards at The Lyric Restaurant & Bar.

Price for the 10K is $25 if registered by April 18, when the cost increases to $30. Registration for the walk and fun run with a shirt is $20. The walk and fun run with no shirt is $10.

Day of registration and packet pick up will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at the Polish American Fire Company, Centre St.

To qualify for the Athena/Clydesdale Division, men must weigh at least 220 pounds and women 165 pounds. Note that if you are running in this division, you forfeit age group awards.
