Weissport Borough Council discussed several issues at its recent meeting.

Councilman Arland Moyer will check with a nephew on bringing the street sweeper to Weissport to sweep the borough streets.

Garbage in the park needs to be cleaned up, and council is looking into buying trash cans for the park.

The borough is looking to add pickle ball and tennis courts to the borough playground area. The borough wants to paint the lines for the basketball and tennis courts.

Borough Police Office in Charge, Matthew Williams, reported 6 police calls for the month of March. One call each for suspicious person, domestic dispute, public drunkenness, parking violation, administrative duty, and ordinance violation.
