Fire companies from two counties responded to a fast moving brush fire Wednesday afternoon in Kidder Township.

The fire was reported around 5 p.m. along Turkey Path Trail just north of Route 940. Heavy winds fanned the flames. Fire companies from Lake Harmony, Albrightsville, Penn Forest and White Haven as well as several DCNR units responded along with a helicopter which made several drops on the blaze.
