April 10, 2004 - Pleasant Valley’s Jeremy Gigliotti pitches a five-inning one-hit shutout as the Bears roll to an 11-0 victory over Easton. Gigliotti, who walks none and strikes out five, loses his no-hit bid with two outs in the fifth. PV, coached by Karl Rentzheimer, breaks open the game with a six-run third inning. Leading the winners offensively is Liam O’Connor, who collects a double and a triple and drives in three runs. Kyle Rhoades adds a couple hits and an RBI, while Brenden O’Connor finishes with a triple and three RBIs. Dan Mina also chips in with two hits, with Joe Andrews contributing a double and two RBIs.
