Tyler Ansbach, 31, Tamaqua, and Lori Ansbach, 56, Nesquehoning, were charged by Tamaqua police with harassment and simple assault following an April 1 incident.

According to police, officers were called to a Tamaqua home at 4:57 p.m. for an active domestic disturbance. Police said a woman at the home was crying and upset because she said both Tyler and Lori Ansbach grabbed her by the throat multiple times following a verbal argument. Police said she also said that Tyler Ansbach shoved her with his right forearm.
