State police at Lehighton

State police at Lehighton barracks reported on the following cases:

• Police were summoned to a property on Floyd Drive, Polk Township, at 9:52 p.m. March 6 to investigate an identity theft case.

Police said the victim told them a credit card was opened in the victim’s name.

• Police said a 30-year-old woman from Saylorsburg is the victim of a theft incident they were called to along James Drive in Ross Township.

Police said between 9:06 a.m. Feb. 7 and 9:06 a.m. Feb. 16, someone utilized the woman’s credit card without her authorization.

• Police said a juvenile was taken into custody after resisting arrest for disorderly conduct after they were called to a residence at 285 Lower Nis Hollow Drive in Mahoning Township.

It happened at 9:41 p.m. March 13 after police were called to the residence for a missing-person report.

• Police are investigating a theft that was reported to them at 7:14 a.m. March 26.

It happened at 2580 57 Road in Lower Towamensing Township.

Police said the victim reported the theft of personal property/belongings that were removed from the property.
