Supreme Knight Luke E. Hart of the Knights of Columbus has announced the appointment of Thomas Martino of Jim Thorpe as the new financial secretary of the Damien Council No. 598, Knights of Columbus.

Martino succeeds William Carroll, who has resigned to attend his other duties with the order since they require much of his time.

The new officer is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Martino. He is a graduate of Mauch Chunk Catholic High School and is married to the former Monica Lienhard.

Carroll served six years in the position, succeeding Thomas Durnin, Esq.
