State police at Fogelsville

State police at Fogelsville report the following incidents.

A theft was reported at 1:15 p.m. Jan. 27, with a 39-year-old woman from New Tripoli reporting she maintains a checking account for JBL Transport, LLC, and that she documented several withdrawals that were made from the account by an unknown individual. Police said the withdrawals totaled between $10-12,000.

They said the unknown individual also attempted to cash several checks from the checking account, but the transactions were blocked.

• A 34-year-old New Tripoli man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after tried to elude police who attempted to pull him over for summary traffic violations.

Police said they tried to stop the 1996 Subaru at 1:26 a.m. March 21 at the intersection of Decatur Street and King’s Highway in Lynn Township but the operator failed to stop and a pursuit ensued. After approximately two miles, the pursuit ended in the area of 7432 Route 309.

The driver was taken into custody without incident, police said.

• A 40-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman were charged with harassment after police were called to a residence they shared along Jefferson Court in Lynn Township.

Police said they were called to the home at 10:39 p.m. March 23 after the two swore at each other, mocked and belittled one another, followed one another around the home they shared and one of the individuals locked the other out of the home.

• A 60-year-old New Tripoli man is facing of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop made by state police at 12:43 a.m. on March 25 at the intersection of Claussville and Boger roads in Weisenberg Township.
