The Schuylkill County Salary Board took the following actions last week:

• Approved a salary of $21.08 an hour, retroactive to Jan. 16, for Amy Eades, Minersville, a secretary III in Court Administration.

• Set the salary for Ann Marie Spece, Wayne Township, a secretary III, at $26.46 an hour as of March 27.

• Created the position of District Justice Assistant 1, effective March 27, and the position of financial accounting manager for domestic relations.

• Hired Janell Bowers, Norwegian Township, for the job at $39.88 an hour retroactive to Jan. 1.

• Hired Alyssa Bankes, Sugar Run, as a caseworker 2 at $21.73 an hour effective March 23.

• Two prison maintenance workers received raises: Robert Donton, Schuylkill Haven, and Eric Pothering, Minersville, will each earn $25.11 an hour as of March 29.
