State police at Frackville report on burglary, mischief

State police at the Frackville barracks reported on the following incidents:

• A criminal mischief incident was reported to police at 4:12 p.m. March 7. It happened on Fifth Street in Kline Township.

A 57-year-old woman from Kelayres, reported someone damaged the driver’s side door of her 2010 Toyota and fled the scene in an unknown direction by an unknown means.

The estimated damages are $200, police said.

• A battery and a charger having a combined value of $3,250 were stolen in a burglary that happened between midnight Dec. 1, 2022, and 5:31 p.m. March 6.

State police at the Frackville barracks said it happened at a radio shed located at the intersection of Park Place and Tower roads in Mahanoy Township.

Police said someone broke into the shed and stole a 100-amp battery valued at $2,250 and a battery charger worth $1,000, and fled the scene in an unknown direction.

• Police are investigating a theft incident that was reported to them by a Tamaqua resident.

It happened between 2:14 p.m. Feb. 15 and 10 a.m. March 6 along River Road in Walker Township.

A 61-year-old man from Tamaqua, reported someone removed a trailer registration plate from a 5-by-8-foot landscape trailer that was on his property.
