• Gregory A. Leon, 40, of New Tripoli, was cited by state police at the Fogelsville barracks for failure to drive at a safe speed following a crash at 4:01 p.m. Feb. 21 on Lyon Valley Road in Lowhill Township.

Police said he was driving a 2016 Dodge Challenger northbound when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road and lost control of the vehicle. It traveled off the right side of the road and struck a fence, going off the road and hitting a tree and a bush.

Police said Leon sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by personnel from the Cetronia Ambulance Corps.

The car sustained disabling damages, police said.

• Leon was also involved in another crash.

Police said two vehicles were damaged in a mishap that happened at 12:24 p.m. Feb. 22 on the on-ramp from Tilghman Street to Route 22 eastbound in Upper Macungie Township. No one was injured.

Police said an unknown driver was attempting to merge onto Route 22 from Tilghman Street and subsequently began reversing the vehicle, striking the front of a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox operated by Leon, who had stopped behind him. Police said the striking vehicle left the scene.

• Emily E. Georgis, 29, of New Ringgold, was cited by state police with failure to drive at a safe speed after a one-vehicle crash at 7:30 a.m. March 2 on Interstate 78 in Upper Macungie Township. She was uninjured.
