The inaugural Lehighton Kilts on Wheels Pub Crawl was from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday and featured five Lehighton area businesses.
Although the weather was a bit chilly, more than 150 crawlers hopped on and off the Jim Thorpe Trolley at each participating stop.
Establishments included Bonne & Clyde Pub, Radical Wine Company, Griff’s Ale Haus & Grille, Lehighton American Legion, Wine & More on 1st and Insurrection Distillery.
Activities for the crawlers included trivia games, spinning a prize wheel at Radical, free wine tasting at Wine & More on 1st and complimentary food and live entertainment at multiple places.
Each participant was also given a swag bag sponsored by the Times News, which contained a commemorative glass, discount coupons for area businesses and more.
The event benefited the Lehighton Downtown Partnership to revitalize the downtown and refurbish the caboose at the Lehighton D & L Trailhead.
