A young man escaped injury late Wednesday afternoon when he was involved in a crash in Mahoning Township around 5 p.m. just east of the Normal Square intersection. The man was traveling east when he said he swerved to the right traveling between a small wooden structure and the guide rails, coming to rest in a stream. Mahoning Township police are investigating.
