Dear editor,

I am a regular reader of the Times News, but I am ready to pay more for my subscription to the paper, if you can stop printing articles about Schuylkill County commissioner George Halcovage Jr. As a Carbon County resident, I have no idea if he is guilty of the sexual harassment accusations brought against him or exactly what the accusations are, but I know that this issue has been going on for too long, and is costing the taxpayers money that could be used elsewhere. A “real” leader would have gone to the accusers and resolved this privately by now. I understand that the job pays a sweet salary compared to the average Schuylkill County resident, but George, you blew it! Do what’s best for the hard working county residents and find something else to do with your time. Everybody sees the solution but you.
