Pennsylvania State Police at the Bethlehem barracks have released the results of a troop-wide traffic enforcement detail which was conducted on Feb. 21 throughout Troop M (Lehigh, Northampton and Bucks counties.)

The detail resulted in police issuing 291 traffic citations and 92 warnings, making two arrests for driving under the influence, and having one traffic stop in which an operator warrant was outstanding.

Police said the objective of the operation was to conduct aggressive, visible enforcement resulting in increased highway safety.
