Route 33 is closed in Hamilton Township between the Route 209 (Lehighton) and Wind Gap exits because of a fatal crash. The road is closed in both directions while crews work to clean up the road. According to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation it is a multivehicle crash that occurred at 10:52 a.m. The Office of Emergency Management said the road will be closed until further notice.
