Two vehicles were damaged and a driver suffered injuries in a mishap at 4:14 p.m. Feb. 17 on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Penn Forest Township.

Police said Alyssa E. Trowbridge, 20, of Old Forge, sustained minor injuries but was not transported after the incident.

Police said she was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu southbound and came to a sudden stop in the right lane of traffic when it was struck in the rear by a 2011 GMC Yukon operated by Jack C. Blobe, 21, of Center Valley.
